One system supports up to four Astronaut milking robots, reducing manual labour, minimising waste, and protecting milk quality around the clock.

Every farm is different so naturally, you get to pick and choose which upgrades would benefit you most. Lely recommends combining Lely Hub and the Astronaut Operating System 2, as the starting point for your farm upgrade. This increases the stability and security, and enables remote support, making you and your farm ready for current and future innovations.
For any hardware upgrades for your Astronaut A5, you require the Astronaut Operating System 2 (AOS2). The software upgrade ensures compatibility with the new hardware components: Teat Detection System 2+, Automatic Milk Filter, and Milk for use. While Lely Hub is recommended to be combined with AOS2, it is not required to have Lely Hub installed to benefit from other hardware upgrades.
If you have an Astronaut A4, you can only benefit from the Lely Hub, which is compatible with Astronaut A3, Astronaut A4, Astronaut A5, Astronaut A5 Next, and Lely Vector. Upgrades specific to your automatic milking robot are only available for your Astronaut A5.
